The Radio Operators of South Texas Amateur Radio Club (ROOST), A Texas
Chartered 501c3 non profit organization, is located in southeast San Antonio
Bexar County, Texas. ROOST is a club which is dedicated to the principles and
good practice of amateur radio. Membership is open to all licensed amateurs. ROOST is active on all
bands, most modes, chasing DX, special events, contests. Several of our members are active in various elements

ARRL Amateur Radio Exam |
ARRL VE Testing is provided the first Saturday of each month at the
R.O.O.S.T. clubhouse at 7201 Palm Park Blvd. in San Antonio, [Click here for
map and directions]. Testing begins at 1pm and the fee is $15.00.
Walk-ins are welcome.
Special Session are available upon request.
You must have a valid FCC Registration (FRN)
Number. Social Security Numbers (SSN) are no longer
accepted.

Club Information |
The club meets at 7pm on the
last Friday of every month at the R.O.O.S.T. clubhouse.
We usually have some food available.
We ask for a $5 donation or bring a side dish.
The R.O.O.S.T information net meets every Thursday at 8pm on the 146.860 repeater.
All nets are open to licensed amateurs operators.
